Managing Service Users Finanace:
Our Client Affairs Service, which is provided by our Accounts and Finance Department, is designed to provide financial assistance to individuals who are unable to do so due to permanent or temporary physical disabilities.
Here are some features of our Client Affairs Service:
Assistance with Financial Tasks:
We can assist our Service Users with basic financial tasks such as balancing cheque books, organising bills, and making payments. This assistance should be provided at the service user’s request and with their explicit consent.
Record keeping:
If we are involved in a Service User’s financial management tasks, we will always maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and ensure transparency. This includes keeping receipts, providing regular financial statements, and obtaining approval for expenses.
Financial Safeguards
We will always act in the best interests of the Service User and avoid any conflicts of interest. They should not commingle the Service User’s funds with their own and should follow all applicable laws and regulations.
Our Accounts and Finance Department will always ensure that the management of Service Users’ finances is carried out with the highest level of integrity and transparency. Legal requirements and ethical considerations will be strictly adhered to, and the best interests of the Service User will always be our primary focus at all times.
